Our email is down. Some internet pirates have stolen stevesloan.org
When you go to our homepage there is some ad there. Steve is working
feverishly, using language I dare not repeat to get us back up and running.
It is likely we will have to go and find a new home site. Boo, hoo!
You know how this heinous practice works. They take your site
then they try to sell it back to you.
You can email or text our cell phones if you need to
initiate contact.

Girls day out shopping on Black Friday.
Things were not too bad but parking was
horrid. Shopping was fun as always.

For those of you who have not heard. We are having a baby.
Lorena and Eric have graciously accepted to be
God parents in a

ceremony that will be officiated
by a family friend. We are very excited.
The baby is due May 30th, 2008.
We are 12 weeks 3 days today. Over the weekend
I will have
Steve load pictures of the
ultrasound.
At the end of December we should be far
enough along to determine
the gender.

Our son turns 14. His favorite gift was his new
Nintendo DS. Hardy seems possible that he can
be a teen. Seems like just yesterday when he
painted his entire body in long wearing red
lipstick. He looked like a stuck pig.

Catching the garter must have worked.
Alex is engaged.
Congratulations.

More Chai (and some Miso)

Cute as a button,

Our new baby, named Chai.
He weighs just over a pound.
Miso has her hands full.

There is a little vandal among us. Yes you heard it right. We discovered this morning that Miso has been devouring the tomatoes on the vine. Huge beautiful tomatoes simply gone, only a stem remaining. She is serving out her sentence in doggy jail (the kennel). After about a week we may grant her appeal for release but just now things are seeming bleak for her.

Happy Anniversary to us.
This past weekend we celebrated our
wedding anniversary. We took a trip into the
city and went on garden tours on Sunday.
On Saturday evening we went to Susumu Sushi Bar.
No I didn't eat the fish. It was great fun.

Yes it's true. Order of the Phoenix is finally here. It was GREAT! WE bought first showing tickets. At 9:30 pm the boys went and stood in line for the 12:01 AM showing on early Wednesday morning. I followed later. There were 4 open theaters and our was in the digital showing. Tons of kids dressed in robes, donning wands and excited to see the movie. While it was very packed our family had a great time. The kids were excited to be up way past bed times. I won't spoil it for you. Now we are on to waiting for the book release in less than ten days. What a waiting game...

New baby in the extended family!

Tuesday, May 15, 2007

What a beautiful movie to commemorate such a beautiful life.
Our son was very surprised to see his daddy so young, he was in awe and deeply moved at the loss of never knowing Grandma Candice.

A Mother's Day Story

This movie was made by Steve's dad. It is from old Sloan family movies of when Steve and Jeff were kids with pictures of their mother. Great work Dad!

Sam in the outfield.

Up to bat...

Talk about major league fun. Our oldest son
is playing ball again this year. He made Babe Ruth
try outs and is now hitting balls out of the park.
He has always been quite the hitter. He has a lot of
upper body strength. The coaches feel he can
go all the way.

Who says siblings don't get along.
Today the kids built a fort in the
living room. They had a blast.
